Training
One of our main areas of expertise is running and we can help you whether you’re a complete beginner or you need a better training schedule to train for a specific distance from 5k to a marathon for example.
First hand experience both with training and treating hundreds of clients for sports injuries enables us to pass on really practical advice that you won’t find in a training schedule written for thousands of people without taking into account their personal attributes, i.e. age, sex, current fitness level, physical conformation, psychological strength, time constraints, existing conditions and previous injury or illness.
You can also join the friendly, local running club to meet up with lots of other running enthusiasts or try out our Wednesday night training runs detailed to the right.
Step your running up a gear with advice from qualified and experienced coaches who have helped numerous of runners improve and reach their goals. From April to October we run a Wednesday night training session. It’s open to all irrespective of current fitness level, age and experience. These weekly runs will commence in April, meeting at 6pm in Launceston Sports. The sessions will be coached and are for anybody wishing to improve their running and have some fun with other runners.
SPRING INTO SUMMER WITH OUR SAFE SPEEDING SESSIONS……!!
We will teach you how to safely teach your body to run faster and stronger, we’ll also show you how to do effective warm ups and cool downs to prepare and recover from the work done and avoid injuries.
There’s no requirement to sign up for the series, just come along to a couple and we’re sure you’ll enjoy yourself enough to want to keep coming back! The cost will be £4 per session and all you need to do is complete a registration form on the right or sign up in the shop.
Just remember though, it’s ‘PCC’ that gets results
